About Us

Filito is a Service that is designed for sharing files using Peer-To-Peer Connection, it aims to be Simple, Accessible, User Friendly and most importantly, Secure.

The mechanism used in Filito is in a way that it only uses WebSockets for Identifying you and people sharing the same session with you, So that you can get to know each other, and later on, when you share a file with a peer, you initiate a P2P connection and the file transferring process happens between you and the other peer, no one else can intercept the data between you two.

As a side note, you have to remember to not to use Public VPN Services, as they usually share the same IP Address across so many users and this could reveal your session to other people using the same VPN.

Finally, We ensure that your transferred files happen in a P2P connection, but any other data that is shared between all users (such as Public Chat) are transferred using WebSockets.
